Where to View the Victorian Radicals Touring Exhibition

Victorian Radicals From the Pre-Raphaelites to the Arts & Crafts Movement by Martin Ellis, Timothy Barringer and Victoria Osborne.

This handsome oversized hardcover exhibition catalogue details and provides background exposition to the touring exhibit "Victorian Radicals: From the Pre-Raphaelites to the Arts & Crafts Movement." Drawn from a unique collection at the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery in the United Kingdom, the exhibit brings together paintings, works on paper, and decorative arts by revolutionary British artists and designers from the second half of the 19th century, including members of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood, William Morris and his associates, and champions of the Arts & Crafts Movement: Ford Madox Brown, Edward Burne-Jones, William Holman Hunt, John Everett Millais, William Morris, Dante Gabriel Rossetti, and Elizabeth Siddall, and others.

Organized by the American Federation of Arts and Birmingham Museums Trust, the touring exhibit opened at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art in 2018 and traveled to the Vero Beach Museum of Art in Florida before arriving at the Seattle Art Museum, where it remains on display until September 8, 2019.
