This is a very personal statement on living by award-winning rapper and producer Khnum “Stic” Ibomu, better known as Stic.
Much like The Aristos, in which novelist John Fowles set out his ideas on life some 60 years ago, the gangsta hip-hop artist lays down a “gang of actionable takeaways” from his experiences in martial arts, meditation, plant-based nutrition, running, and more.
“It’s part memoir, part manifesto, in that we explore philosophies and revolutionary ideas that empower well-being,” he explains. “And part manual, as it’s full of practices and actionable takeaways, it’s about embracing how to actually enjoy the discipline.”
The five principles (Ps) referenced in the title are Knowledge, Nutrition, Exercise, Rest, and Consistency which he breaks down in sections titled Mindset Matters, Listen To Your Gut, Fine Your Fitness, Restoration, and Consistency.
