Harlequin is a high-CPB, low-THC strain of cannabis that soothes pain and anxiety in many users without the “stoniness” of more psychoactive varieties.
“I recommend Harlequin to my patients who us medical cannabis all the time,” says Dr. Mary Clifton in her book, Cannabis for Health. “I use it interchangeably with Cherry Pie because of the similar THC and CBD ratios. Both strains are high in CBD and fairly low in THC, so people who use them can get a considerable amount of relaxation and relief from symptoms without a lot of intoxication.”
Cherry Pie is the sweeter of the two strains and a little bit citrusy, according to Clifton. Harlequin has a more earthy, musky aroma. Both are good for general relaxation and mood stabilization.
