U.S. Constitution Day

The Constitution of the United States was drafted and signed during the Constitutional Convention held in Philadelphia from May 14 to September 17, 1787.

Mandated by a law signed in 2004, Constitution Day is a congressionally mandated moment in which schools — from kindergarten through college — must offer an “educational program” on the Constitution.
