Although it is not a public holiday, Father's Day is observed by Luxembourgians as a day to express love and gratitude to fathers.

Fathers with school-age children often receive small presents from them, usually something they made at school, as well as a present from their wives. Sometimes children learn a Father’s Day song at school, which they then sing to their dads.
