Observed on 21 March in Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, United Arab Emirates and many other Arab countries, Mother’s Day is closely associated with the Vernal Equinox or the beginning of spring. On this day Arab mothers are recognized with flowers, cards, gifts and family dinners for their love, care and sacrifices.
