Derived from the Japanese word for beef, ‘wagyu’ refers to four breeds of Japanese cattle – Black (Tajima), Brown (red Wagyu), Polled, and Shorthorn.
First organized by the American Wagyu Association in 2019 Wagyu Day on June 21st has grown into a popular worldwide celebration of the craftsmanship involved in producing this premium beef.
