Held annually every third full weekend in October, this is one of Louisiana's oldest and largest agricultural festivals, honoring the rice industry and its hardworking farmers. In addition to live music, parades, and food vendors, the festival features an Accordion Contest, Rice Eating Contest and a Frog Derby.
