A Gaia Place is where you relax and connect with nature. This may be wild retreat, a backyard garden, a city park, a favorite fishing hole, or even a quiet corner with a potted plant.
“You’ll know if you’ve found your Gaia place because you’ll miss it when you haven’t been there for awhile,” says behavioral ecologist Stephan Harding, author of Gaia Alchemy.
“When you think of things you have seen and remember insights that came to you there you’ll feel a warmth in your heart, a comfort in your body, and a sense of delight to have found such nourishment in your Gaia place, your home in the bosom of nature.”
Scout for your Gaia Place, looking for locations that spark a feeling of gladness. And seek a spot nearby, preferably, so that you can return to it often.
