Pi Day recognizes the mathematical constant Pi (Greek letter “ π ”) which represents the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter. Pi is roughly equal to 3.1415… with an infinite number of decimals and is consequently celebrated on March 14 or 3/14.
