On the anniversary of Alfred Nobel's death each year, the Nobel Prizes are delivered to the Prize Winners of the year. The prizes are for a Scientific Exploration of great value for mankind in the areas of Physics, Chemistry, Medicine, Literature, Economics and Peace.
In early December, the Nobel Laureates and the Laureates in Economics arrive in Stockholm, Sweden, to present their Nobel Lectures and to prepare for the Nobel Prize Award Ceremony.
On December 10, the Nobel Peace Prize Laureates deliver their Nobel Lectures during the Nobel Peace Prize Award Ceremony at the Oslo City Hall in Norway. This is followed by a series of Nobel Banquets.
