Mother's Day is observed in Thailand on the 12th of August in celebration of the birthday of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit. As the Queen is also seen as being the mother of all Thai people, her birthday has been celebrated as Mother's Day since 1976.

Unlike Mother's Day in other nations, in Thailand it is a national holiday.
