Maundy Thursday commemorates the Last Supper of Jesus Christ with the Apostles, preceding the Easter Triduum - the three days of Good Friday, Saturday and Easter Sunday that commemorate the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Jesus.
Also known as Holy Thursday, Great and Holy Thursday, and Thursday of Mysteries, Maundy Thursday is a Christian feast day or holy day observed on the Thursday before Easter. It is usually normally celebrated in the evening with The Mass of the Lord's Supper.
