On September 29 each year, coffee and chocolate enthusiasts combine their enthusiasms for Mocha Day. Mocha refers to coffee beans imported from Al Moka in Yemen in the 17th century which had a chocolatey flavor. Today’s “mocha” is derived more from an Italian thick hot chocolate combined with espresso and steamed milk.
