This March 24 food holiday celebrates raisins coated in a shell of either milk chocolate or dark chocolate and consumed as a healthy snack. The Raisinets brand of this treat was created by Blumenthal Brothers Chocolate Company in 1927 and became especially popular at movie theater concessions.
