Chocolate Covered Cherry Day

The tasty combination of chocolate and cherries is celebrated on this food holiday the 3rd day of January. First introduced in 1929 by Cella's Confections of New York, the confection has since become a popular choice worldwide. Chocolate-covered cherry variations include cherry cordials with liquid fillings, chocolate-covered candied cherries and chocolate-covered dried cherries.
