Bittersweet Chocolate Day

Also known as baking chocolate or bitter chocolate and used primarily as a flavoring in baking, this unsweetened chocolate is made from cooked, cooled and hardened chocolate liquor. It is celebrated on January 10 for its intense chocolate flavor and velvety texture, magically transforming almost any baked good into a gourmet dessert.
