Festival Description
One of the oldest festivals in the state of Arkansas, the Johnson County Peach Festival includes beauty pageants, a scavenger hunt, parade, diaper derby, concessionaires, a greased pig chase, frog jump, terrapin (turtle) derby, peach cobbler bake-off, and peach pit spitting and peach eating contests.
Clarksville prides itself as the home of the Elberta Peach, a variety that is excellent for fresh eating, desserts, canning, freezing and jam.
