Since the 1930s, the community of Emmett and all of Gem County in Idaho has gathered each June to celebrate the abundance of their valley with the region’s longest continually running festival. Concerts and a carnival take place in Emmett City Park. Other events like a Cherry Pit Spit, Pie Eating Contest, pageant, rodeo, car show and parade take place elsewhere in the community during the four-day festival.
